OUR NAME
Beit Shuvu means house of restoration or house of return.
Our work focuses on bringing the Torah of Moshiach and the Jewish Sages to all nations. We are an English and Spanish-speaking Messianic Jewish Synagogue serving the Las Vegas area. We invite you to come fellowship with us; our congregation is open for both Jews who want to experience the message of Yeshua of Nazareth and people from the nations who want to be grafted into Israel, as the prophet wrote:
Also the aliens, that join themselves to the LORD, to minister unto Him, And to love the name of the LORD, To be His servants, Every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, And holdeth fast by My covenant: Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer; Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Shall be acceptable upon Mine altar; For My house shall be called A house of prayer for all peoples. Saith the Lord G-D who gathereth the dispersed of Israel: Yet I will gather others to him, beside those of him that are gathered.
Isaiah 56: 6-8
our mission
We are affiliated to Ahavat Ammi Ministries and these are our values and mission:
In the Hebrew language, the word Ahavah (אהבה) or love carries a special meaning. It speaks of the 13 attributes of G-d that defines his love towards his people. Our vision is founded on 4 principles that make up the word Ahavah:
א
Ahavat Ammi Ministries or “For the Love of my People” is founded on the 13 attributes of love and mercy toward G-D’s chosen people. This love is focused around the most loving act towards the Jewish community that of sharing with them the message of hope, mercy and the message of life in Yeshua of Nazareth.
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, “The LORD G-d, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth; keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation”
Exodus 34:6-7
ה
As a Jewish organization, our focus of Kiruv L’evavot (bringing hearts closer) to HaShem and his Messiah is our top priority. We are focused on bringing every Jewish soul to the Kingdom of G-D through the love of Messiah to the Lost Sheep house of Israel.
Do not go on the road to the Gentiles, and do not enter any towns of the Shoronim. Go the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’el. And as you go, call out, saying, “The kingdom of Heaven is on the brink of arrival!”
Mattai 10:6
ב
The restoration of the Kingdom of G-D and Messiah’s return will not occur until the Jewish people will welcome him, as it is written:
Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How many times I have desired to gather your sons like a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling…..For I say to you, from now on you will not see me until you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of HaShem!”
Mattai 23:37
ה
Ahavah is a physical action. We are committed not only to sharing the good news of our Messiah with our people, but to supporting the physical needs of our people. We are supporting operations in Israel and abroad that bring the Message of life through physical support of our people—from pro-life organizations that give hope to future mothers to soup kitchens.
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
Yaakov 2:14-17
